One way is to make the column sufficiently wide.
What do you expect by "not wrapping"? Where should the text go or what should happen?

Maybe it can just be hidden like with css overflow-x:hidden property, or maybe the column size can expand?

I don't know, it's probably not worth putting effort into solving this.

Curious if there's a way to wrap the text at the end of the cell instead of certain characters (such as ".")

I'm trying to add a URL field to a cell and it wraps after "www." for URLs longer than the width allows.
